Me, 20 minutes before I went in for my 2:15 hair appointment with my new stylist, Lauren, who is an absolute sweetheart. I can't believe I waited so long to get a new hair girl. Definitely not my proudest moment, but I waited over a year before I got another haircut after I got the fringe last year. It was a little traumatizing to grow it out.

The original idea didn't include a fringe, but as we went along, I realized they would take the haircut to the next level. If you're gonna do something dramatic, do it all the way, right?

I definitely didn't get the cut I came in for, but I'm all right with that. You have to be flexible in these sorts of situations, or else you become one of those girls competing for America's Next Top Model, bawling their eyes out at the 10 inches they just lost, refusing to believe THEY ACTUALLY LOOK BETTER.
