I'm on a printed matter high right now.
Sheer ink and paper bliss.
I ordered all three past issues of Kinfolk, the newest 3191 Quarterly, and the cherry on top, Apartmento.
I know I've talked about this before, but there's something so special about feeling the tangible product in your hands, and seeing an image on paper, not a lit-up screen on your browser.
I've been following these projects and the people behind them for quite a while, and it feels so good to be able to support all of them in one way or another. It doesn't hurt either how pretty they make my bookshelves look.
As much as I love blogs, and all the amazing people behind them, I love the printed word. There's so much hard work that goes into every single page. I can stay buried in the details in the comfort of my bed sans the laptop that keeps my cat off my chest. It really is like going into another world.
